From slab to cut rows
A typical slab line starts with a formed slab or extruded bar. The CFT-400 continuous feed topper covers it in nuts, chocolate chips, rice bubbles or powder, top only or top and bottom. A liquid chocolate coating can be added at this point. The RSC-200 robotic slab cutter then cuts it into squares, bars or any pattern you can draw, with an ultrasonic blade that doesn’t crush or stick. For continuous, extruded product, the RCC-200 continuous cutter cuts on the move.
The outfeed runs a little faster than the cutter, so the cut rows separate and arrive at your packing team ready to pack. Where the layout needs it, our Curved Zero Contact conveyors carry product around corners without changing its orientation. If you want to automate packing later, our End of Line machines can be added.
Why ultrasonic
The blade vibrates at ultrasonic frequency, so it passes through the product instead of pressing on it. Layers stay in place, toppings don’t drag, and sticky products don’t build up on the knife. That means cleaner cuts, less waste and less cleaning.
